Consistent responsiveness Any speed, any pressure, the friction level stays the same. You know exactly how hard to press the pedal without having to guess or test. When you’re trying to extract every fraction of a second out of your lap times, you want to know how your vehicle will respond every time you apply the brakes.
The ideal brake pad delivers consistent response over a range of speeds and pressure on the pedal. We tested Bendix Race versus 2 leading competitors by applying the brakes in “snubs” from 200km/h and measuring the speed and pressure sensitivity. The graph above, demonstrates far superior friction stability for Bendix Race which means you know what to expect every time you apply the brakes.
Note: a snub is a brake application that doesn’t completely stop the car.
When the competition hots up, you can keep your coolLess conductive than semi-metallic compounds, Bendix Race is made from a low steel compound. This helps to keep the caliper and brake fluid cool. When the brake fluid gets too hot, it can boil and cause brake failure.
The pedal goes to floor with no brake effectiveness. Bendix Race is designed to keep performing even under extreme temperatures experienced in race conditions.
