Champion drivers say consistency inspires confidence

Six months of real-time racing by champion drivers proves that new Bendix Race pads are consistent from start to finish, inspiring confidence and creating winners.

These drivers know their cars and must know their brake pads. They have been testing the new Bendix Race pads on circuits around the country.

So what have they got to say about Bendix Race?

Dave Heath has given the Bendix Race Pads a real workout since they went on to his EA Falcon in September ‘06. The new pads were on his car when his team came second in the six-hour race at Phillip Island. And they gave him confidence in four championship rounds at Sandown, Winton and Calder. Dave loves the consistency of Bendix Race Pads. 

"They are good right from the start, there’s no fade and they are great to the end of the race. There is exactly the same predictable pedal feel the whole time – they are fantastic."

Gary Baxter says he chose the new Bendix Race Pads for the front brakes of his VZ SSZ Ute Hot Lap car.

"When I first tested these pads I was extremely impressed with the feel and the initial bite. You can brake so much later into a corner and feel when the car is approaching lock up. They work great from cold and are kind to disc rotors."

Bruce Heinrich says they are more forgiving and they last longer. With Bendix Race pads on his AU Falcon, Bruce says he knows that the new Bendix pads have improved his circuit times.

"You can go into a corner deeper, knowing that you are not going to lock a wheel, unlike other brake pads. I think that is where my better times have come from because I can actually carry the corner speed and it won’t lock a wheel and take me off my line."
